INGLEWOOD NEWS.
(From Our Own Correspondent). The weather appears not to be too favourable for the Friendly Societies Picnic to-day. but perhaps we may find that the anticipation is worse than the reality. May it be so, for this is a very popular function here. Frewin's pictures on Tuesday were very good and well patronised, the star films being quite up to the standard of this favourite entertainment. Rumor has it that another hall will be a realised fact before long, but as it is only rumour at present it will be as well to wait for details before enlarging upon the apparently useless nature of the enterprise. The Girls Peace Scouts' Garden Party on Saturday last was a distinct success and produced much material in the shape of funds for future use.
