PETROLEUM.
THE TAKANAKI COMPANY (IN LIQUIDATION.) The advisory board of the Taranakj (N.Z.) Oil Wells, Ltd.. received,a 'cable from London yesterday authorising them to pay out to the liquidators of the Tavanaki Petroleum Company the? final payment in terms of the agreement entered into when the company was formed. The liquidators will give due notice to the shareholders as soon as arrangements are complete to allow of the distribution.
