The labor parties' organisation aims at its lasting for months. Housewives are making strong provisions, ami prices are rising rapidly. The Government is opposed to any attempt at compromise, and say that threats to strike have become a species of permanent blackmail. THE GRIMSBY STRIKE.
Received li), 1-2.25 a.m. London, February IS. Fifty free laborers at Grimsby are receiving 3s id per hour. The strikers persuaded many to leave after drawing 27s for a day's work. RAKERS' DEMANDS. Received 10, 12.25 a.m. London, February IS. Ten thousand London bakers are demanding a 54 hours' week, 30s in shops and 32s in factories. The masters will concede this if each man bakes ten sacks weekly. The men reply that this is impossible.
