At a large gathering in the Victoria -Theatre to-night after an address by Mr. Semple, organiser of the Federation of Labor, resolutions were carried agreeing with the recent Labor Conference in its endeavouring to unite the labor bodies in New Zealand, and pledging the meeting to do all in its power to defeat the Reform Party, believing that its policy was detrimental to human progress. j
