Messrs. C. Carter and C. E. Bellringer liavc returned to New Plymouth from Wellington. Mr. M. C'. Barnett, Inspector for New Zealand for the Public Trust' Office, is in New Plymouth.
Captain ,T. Black, secretary of the taranaki branch Qf the Royal Veterans' Association, has been indisposed, but is now mending. Father Ainsworth, of Eltham, who has been transferred to Nelson was the recipient of purses of sovereigns fro:n his parishioners at Eltham and Kaponga. The former was accompanied by an address.
