rADDON DEFEATS' FELTON. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Received Hi, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, February 10. In the sculling championship Paddon beat Felton by twentv-nve lengths. The water and the weather were favourable. It was a good race for a mile and a half, where Felton was leading. He had however, rowed himself out. and Paddon forging ahead, won easily. Time, 21min 12sec. Felton declared 'that there was no excuse. He was in the pink of condition. and was beaten bv a better man. PEARCE SAILS FOR ENGLAND. Received 10. 5.5 p.m. Sydney. February lfi. Pearce accompanied by Priddle. his trainer, sailed by the Gothic for England. He received a great send off.
