WEDDING 15KU,S. A vi'ry pretty wedding was celebrated in the Wliilolcy .Memorial ( hurch last Thursday week, when Mi=s Eva Cntrail youngest daughter of Mr. and ills. A. 0. Catran. of New Plymouth, was married to Mr. Francis Morshead. eldest son of Mrs. Morshead. of South lload. The bride was given away l>y her father, mid looked charming in her wedding gown of ivory, crepe meteor silk, prettily trimmed with silk lace and ruchings. She wore the usual veil and wreath, and carried a beautiful large bouquet of white Mowers, in which walerlilies and heaths predominated. The bridesmaids were the Misses Etnmcline Catran. sister of I he bride, and Winnie Morshend. sister of tlie bridegroom. The former wore cri't'in crepe ile-rhiite. I rimmed with Oriental lace and silk guipure., while Mi-s Morshe:<tl whs dressed in silk crepe.
with silk luce trimmings and glace rucliings. Both bridesmaids curried daintymade marriage rings of pink and white llowers. The Rev. 11. T. I'eat came up from Wellington specially to officiate. Mr. Charles Morshend (llawera) was best man and .Mr. Arthur Barnitt (( hristchurch) groomsman. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a pendant of rubies and pearls, to Miss ('atrail a pendant of aequaiine and pearls and to Miss Morshead a similar present of turquoise and pearls. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a gold signet
