NEW ZEALAND'S FINANCES. (Per Press Assoeiatrori). Wellington, Thursday. The Hon. Mr. Fraser was unreported in last night's telegram referring to finances. lie. was represented as saying that the land and incoms tax would he at least 7o per cent. above the estimate. What he really said was that the amount would he £75.000 ahove the estimate, which is a different thing.
