PREMIER IN THE RANGITIKEI. Per Press Association. Marton. Thursday. The Premier was motored over the Turakina Valley district this morning. Interviewed, lie said he had had a great, Irip and enjoyed himself immensely. lie had never >een mii-Ii a particularly large stretch of fine country anywliere in tiie Dominion. Asked if lie could make a statement veurardinir the agricultural College, he -aid as a centre Marton was hard to heal, hut it was absolutely impossible to make a definite statement. The Premier opened the Marton Dis--1 rit*t A. and P. Show and congratulated Ih-e Association on the excellent entries, and said that Marton. being the centre of sucli a large agricultural district, should soon have a large show. Shows were an education for farmer.-. Stock and all produce were selling well, and settlers were experiencing prosperity, which was good fof the settlers and good for the Government. lie left by the Wellington express.
