THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. •■'Behind the Mask" is the best of an excellent, programme at the Theatre Royal to-night. The story is that of a young girl who saves her sister from marrying an undesirable and faithless man. Some of the scenes are exceptionally vivacious, especially that in which the sister dances to the delight of the < diners at Maxim's. This picture introduces to the Xew Plymouth public another fascinating picture personality in the world-famous actress and dancer Saharet. ."Through the Flames" and '•The Substitute Heiress" are two fine 1 dramatic pictures, ami there is also a John Bunny comic, a Max Linder comedy and a good range of interest films. EMPIRE PK.'TTRE PALACE. There was again a good attendance at (he Empire last evening, when the midweek selection was shown for the second occasion. The same series will be shown again to-night, for the last time.
