THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. A special race night attraction will lie screened at the Royal "to-night in the,! form of a 3000 feet racing- drama, "The . Cup winner." This production is said-to be full of intensely exciting and thrilling events, and should prove a strong attraction for this theatre to-night and to-morrow night.' The mid-week change of programme will be presented to picture patrons at . the Empire this evening. In view of the. holiday crowds a- particularly strong selection has been secured, including the , fine Edison portrayal "Master and.' Pupil," a picture that introduces the well-known artist and illustrator. Harry. Furniss. The A.B. Companv are also represented with a powerful dramatic sub- ■ jcct "Two Daughters of Eve," in which a mother objects to her child being kissed by a variety artist on the score ] that the kiss is "tainted." The artist achieves a clever revenge, and the way in which it is carried out furnis-fies mater- - ial for. a fine drama. There is a Western drama. "The Ranchman's Trust,", and a Lubin picture featuring Arthur Johnson, "The Amateur Iceman." Education and comic pictures add! variety to the new programme.
