A NEGRO MURDERED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, February i). At Houston, Missouri, after lie had confessed to the murder of a white woman, a crowd lynched a negro preacher. An armed mob kept the sheriff's posse powerless, chained the negro to a pump, and burned hint to cinders. The mob hanged another negro who was suspected of having been implicated in the crime, but later it was discovered that lie was guiltless.
