METHODIST CONFERENCE.
VARIOUS BUSINESS. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Methodist Conference was continued yesterday morning. A loyal address to His Excellency the Governor was adopted. The following were admitted as ministers in full connection with the conference:—Revs. John D. McArthur, Edward Bandy, Henry Cottem and .Joseph B. Suckling. The following probationers were passed in their respective years:—Messrs Albert P. Bnreheli, William A. Burlcy, M. H. Charles, 1-1. Olds, James Richards, Archer 0. Harris, Harold A. Sharp, Alexander Allen, Walter J. Entincott, Arthur Hopper, Wm. Lea, Leslie B. Nealc, Horace L. Richards, James Chartcris, Fred, Frost, Clyde L. Chit, Matthew J. Evans, Robt. B. Gosnell, Henry H. Marshall, John E. Parsons, Arthur 11. Seriven, Wm. Walker, William A. Watson, Saml. J. Werrin. Two lay preachers. Messrs. Geo. B. ninton. and Arthur A. Bensley, and several candidates were received for training. Messrs. George Kirkwood, Dan Wileox, and Edward Te Puhi were passed in their respective years as native preachers on probation. The, Theological College Committee was authorised to make arrangements for three additional students. On Saturday afternoon the delegates attended a pienie at Day's Bay. and today a camp meeting was held on the Basin Reserve.
