A FLAX MILL OX FTRE. Per Press Association. Palmerston X.. Friday. A destrttetive (ire occurred early this morning at L. Seifert's Rangitane flax mill, which has only been finished sixweeks, and was rewarded as the most up-to-date mill in the Dominion. The outbreak occurred in the engine-room, which was destroyed. The engine and machinery were badly damaged by heat, and the stripper-room was also gutted. The damage is over £100(1. There is no insurance .
