At a. meeting of the Ashburton County Council to-day the chairman said that he had been approached by the .Mayor of A-hburton on the ipiestion of sending an exhibit to the Auckland Exhibition. A disclit-sion ensued, and finally it «':i< resolved that a committee be set up to confer with the lSonuigli Council as to the advisability of the County am!
