A WHITE MAN'S COUNTRY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 5, 9.25 p.m. Melbourne, February 5. Conflicting opinions have been formed as to the Northern Territory. Mr. Williams, visiting it for the Patagonian Welsh settlers, reports that it is a white man's country. The northern portion, within the monsoonal area, is not subject to drought. Never in the history of British colonisation have such inducements been ottered to white settlers.
