The Midhirst figures. compiled for (he thirty-day period ending January 13, run as follows .—Highest herd average 42.(iUb, butter-fat lowest herd average 21.SK, average Association cow 32.24, ten highest cows averaged 01.60, ten lowest 13.31). best cow gave 77.28, worst eow g.;ice !1.72 : the highest quantity of milk given by one cow was HiSOlb,' which at a test of 4.(1 produced 77.2511) butter-fat, and the lowest quantity of milk 2701b, test 3.(1. producing 0.721b butter-fat.
