FEILDING SHOW.
THE FIRST DAY. (Per Press Association). Feilding, Last Night. At the Feihling Show to-day there were very numerous entries in the stockclasses. In the, draught horses E. Short was the principal winner ;also in fat cattle and Hereford cattle. T. H. Oalpinan was most successful in Ayrshire*. Mr. S. R,. Lancaster in .Terscvs', Mr. ,T. Liggins in Holsteins, and Mr. S. R. Lancaster in dairy cattle. Fat sheep were very well supported, the prizes being well distributed. Tn Romney purebred? the prizes were divided between Mr. .T. E. Hewitt, Mr. A. L. Wheeler, Messrs. A. and J. Orav. and Mr. W. Gibson. In Border Leiccsters Mr. .T. Dowthwaite was the principal winner, in English Leiccsters Mr. S. R. Lancaster, in Soutlulowns Mr. .T. Knight -and Nelson Bros. The Maiden Hunters' Competition resulted: Mr. J. lirvce's Shamrock 1. Mr. E. Bttrrell's Gay Boy 2. High .Tump: Mr. E. Burrell's Gay Bov (sft Gin). Steeplechase Style: Mr. 0. E. Lcvett's "Reckless 1. Mr. IT. TTassall's Mickey 2. Fine weather promises well for to-morrow. I
