DRUNK OR LUNACY. (Per Press Association). Invercargill. Last Xiirht. A youm: man appeared at the Police Court to-dav on a charge of drunkenness. Detective Cameron stated tliaf tin l defendant had been for some days past freely presenting a revolver, and yesterday, while comini; into town in a taxi cab. thrrateiied to -dioni the driver. The police were informed of the man's peculiar demeanour, and arrested him on arrival of the taxi-cub. He had been drink:"'.- leeivi'y of late, and the police .-i-'.cd for a remand for a week, lo see if the defendant'-: behaviour was due to drink or other causes. The remand was granted.
