There was an excellent wicket "when the_ match was resumed. Queensland in their second innings scored 144 (Sheppard 45, Law not out 50). Armstrong took f> wickets for 48 runs and Brown 3 for 35. Victoria in their second essay have scored 50 without losing a wicket. CTTRJSTCHURCn MATCHES. (Per Press Association). 'Christchurch, Saturday. On Saturday afternoon some sensations were provided in first grade cricket. West Cliristehurcli went down before East Christchurch, Riecarton failed miserably before some fine bowling by Wilson for Sydenham, and St, Albans (two men short) failed to play nut time against Linwood, giving the eastern club a three-point win. Results: Sydenham 38G. Riecarton 104 and 50: Linwood 204 and 203 for four declared (A. C.rant (10, S. Orchard not out 62) St. Albans 202 and 00: East Christchurch 343 (T. Carlton 01, H. W. Monaghan 70. J. \\. Crichton 03). West Christchurch 22!) and 44 for six.
