The Proprietors' Association has replied to the Employees' Federation that a conference cannot be held until the Bunvood mine resumes work. The reply was considered at a meeting of the Delegate Board of the Employees 0 ' Federation, which passed a resolution that, failing the arrangement of a conference within seven days, an aggregate meeting of the employees will be" called to consider the position. The plans of the freezing works of the Australian Meat Export Company, which it has been alleged is connected with tlie meat trust, show five blocks of buildings in the main works.'to be of eight storeys.
