His Excellency the Governor and Lady Liverpool wcjq. round the city to-day, and inspected the hospital, the Roslyn Woollen Mills, and the Kari-tane-Harris Hospital for babies. In the afternoon His Excellency held a levee'at the Town Hall, when a"large and representative number of citizens had the honor of being presented to him. Tomorrow the Vice-Regal party will leave for the north. At Oamaru His Excellency will informally receive the members of the Town Council, and at Orari he .will take part in a,'staff r id e arranged by Colonel Godley, subsequently joining the second express for Christchurch. On Saturday he tvM attend the races at Riccarton, and *he same evening with Lady Liverpperand party,' he will proceed by sterfmer to Wellington
