Mrs. Trotter gave evidence at the inquest that both burglars appeared to be slim, but one was much taller than the oilier. The voice of the taller seemed to be a boyish voice, breaking into manhood. Thompson's voice did not appear the same. Thompson's voice was the guifV low-toned voice of a man. Thompson did not seem slini-built to her. The coat worn by the taller man was striped something like the one produced. The felt hat produced was something like the one worn by the taller man. Nobody, to her knowledge, knew where the money was kept. She went once to see Thompson, but was unable to identify him.
The evidence against Thompson consisted of a linger-print on the windowsill of the back window. An expert stated that the characteristics agreed with Thomson's.
