HP HE Council of the Borough of New Plymouth HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE that it proposes to.borrow, by way of special loan, the sum of £55,000. (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is the construction of a tramway on the overhead trolley electric tramway system from the Waiwakaiho Bridge, Fitzroy, to the root of the ■ Breakwater, via Devon, Egmont and St. Aubyn streets, with a branch along Devon street, from Egmont street to Morley street.

(d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest for the first year. A poll of the ratepayers will be taken upon the above proposal on WEDNESDAY, the sth diiv of March, 1013.
