WEDDING.

SCOTT—POTTS. In the Holy Trinity Church, Te Hemii, yesterday afternoon. Miss Ethel Potts, second daughter of Mrs. Potts, of Devon street East, New Plymouth, was married to Mr. John Scott, of Awakino, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Scott, of Dunedin. The wedding was quiet but very pretty. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Chas. Potts, of Stratford, wore a very dainty white silk dress trimmed with embossed satin and pretty white net trestled with silk threads. She wore the customary wreath of real orange blossoms and a veil, and carried a bouquet of white roses, mandevilea and lily of the valley, made bv Mrs. J. W. Downs, of Bell Block. The Rev. J. Wilkinson, 8.A.. officiated, coming specially from Auckland for the purpose, and Mr. Clem Wilson, of Awakino, acted as best man. Misses Kathleen and Jean Potts, sisters of the bride, attended her as bridesmaids, and were daintily and effectively attired in white book muslin trimmed with beautiful insertion and Satin bands. They wore black hats prettily trimmed with pink and heliotrope respectively and carried bouquets to match. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Scott left by motor for the South, en route for Dunedin. where the honeymoon is to be spent. They were the recipients of a large number of useful and handsome presents, including several cheques. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a turquoise and pearl brooch, and to the bridesmaids wristlet watches. As a travelling dress, the bride wore a navy blue costume with black hat draped with cream lace.
