UNIVERSITY SENATE.
YESTEKDAY'S .SITTINGS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. At the University Senate it was resolved that a special meeting be held in Wellington a fortnight after the receipt of the English examiners' results, with power to deal with the award of degrees, honors and scholarships; that the next meeting be held in Dunediii on January 17, 1914. The ten Junior University Scholarships were awarded to the December examination. 1913. The matter of the conservatorium of music was left in the hands of the council of the Auckland University Senate. It was resolved to take no further action until the whole scheme bad been submitted for its approval by the Auckland Council. Tbe following graduates, with degrees obtained outside New Zealand, were admitted to the Universitv of Xew Zealand: Olaf E. Stout (Wellington), Henry W. Mayo (Gisborne), Graham H. lialfoiir (l)iinedin). Frances C. Kjlroe (Wellington), Ambrose, T. Griflith (Fending),'.lames Hale (Timaru).
