THE LAKE COLERIDGE SCHEME. By Telegraph—Press Association. . Christchurch, Last Night. According to men who reached town to-day from Lake Coleridge, work on the tunnel contract, in connection with the hydro-electrical installation is practically at a standstill. A large number of men employed on the contract reached home to-day, and others are expected to-morrow. Reports have been prepared by the officers of the Public Works Department dealing with the progress of the contract for the construction of th» tunnel, and these will be forwarded to the Minister for Public Works, to assist him in coming to a decision as to whether or not the contract shall be determined.
