THE AMERICAN NAVY.
REPLY TO CANADIAN LIBELS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Washington, January 21. Admiral has denied Major Sharpe's statements, asserting that Americans were the equal of any sailors in the world, and that the round-the-world cruise of the fleet proved this. Ninety per cent, df the sailors were native-born Americans.
