WOMAN'S SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Monday. Elizabeth Boyle, a married woman, G7 years of age, died suddenly at Waipu. It is believed to be a case of suicide. FOUND DROWNED. Cliristchurch, Monday. An old-age pensioner named William John Cock was drowned at Heathcote yesterday. At the inquest a verdict of found drowned was returned. A DROWNING FATALITY. Greymouth, Last Night, Shortly after three o'clock this afternoon Annie ITeslin, ten years old. partially blind, was playing on the bank •f the Grey river at Taylorville, near her parents' residence, when she fell into the river. Frank Ruane plunged in to her rescue, and got into difficulties. He was rescued with great difficulty by a rope thrown from the bank by a man and a woman, and was pulled out in a state of collapse, being some time coming found. The girl was drowned. A party is dragging for the body, which has not yet been recovered. FALL FROM A TRAIN. Wellington, Last Night. A man, so far unidentified, fell from a tramear in the city to-night, and was seriously injured about the head. He now lies in the hospital in an unconscious condition. , FOUND DEAD.
