Fitzherbert. white insertioned muslin: black hat. wreathed with white poppies. Mrs. Glasgow, grey coat and skirt; black hat. with fuchsia-tinted ospreys.
Mrs. Bertram (Rotorua), white linen cr.at and skirt: black hat. with black and white decked feathers: Miss F. Evans, vieux rose crepe: black hat, with loops of shaded pink ribbon. Miss Bedford, pale blue crepe, faced with black and white silk: black hat. Mrs. Clianey. mustard-colored linen ccat and I, skirt: black hat. Miss Colvile. dainty white embroidered muslin: pale pink hat. Mrs. Peat, black and white check silk, with cream lace; black hat, massed with green leaves. Mrs. Leatham, pretty pale grey and rose pink striped silk, richly trimmed with eheam lace; black hat, massed with colored clovers.
Miss Hanna, colored striped voile: ecru-colored hat, with shaded pink roses. Mrs. Lawson. white muslin; black hat. trimmed with pale pink roses.
Mrs. Rollo, saxe-blue cloth costume, banded with silk: saxe-blue hat, wreathed with tiny pink roses. Miss Munro, silver grey costume; braided grey straw hat, trimmed with roses and feathers.
Mrs. Addenbrooke. del blue crepe, trimmed with black buttons and braid; black toque, lined with white. Mrs. Paton, putty-colored costume, faced with saxe-blue; black hat. Mrs. Walker, handsome robe of black niiion over national blue embroidered ■ chiffon, with a foundation of white taffetas; black feathered hat. Mrs. C. Weston, white embroidered muslin; black hat, with white roses. Mrs. W. S. Spencer (Wellington), very smart grey-striped coat and skirt, relieved with cerise; black hal, lined with cream lace and wreathed with cerise roses. Mrs. Birch-Johnston, pretty cream silk, tucked and banded and relieved with saxe-blue silk. Miss Barnitt. white linen costume, white and saxe-blue hat. Miss Xichol, pale grey coat and skirt: hat to correspond. Mrs. Dennv-Brown. white muslin; black hat. Mrs. C. T. Mills, black and white striped costume; black hat, wreathed with marguerite daisies. Mrs. Cruickshank, navy blue and white spotted foulard, faced with navy, white and saxe-blue. Miss Taylor, white muslin; hat, trimmed with heliotrope ribbon and roses. Mrs. Penn, sage-green silk: black hat, with red and pink roses. Miss E. Penn, white muslin; white hat, massed with pink roses. PERSONAL ITEMS. Mrs. P.
