Mrs. Lloyd, wife of a farmer, admonished an ex-State hoy named Lindsay, twenty years of age, whereupon he shot her dead. The crime occurred when the woman was going milking at four o'clock in the morning, j Lindsay dragged the body to the house, and then wrote to his sister, who is living in Sydney: "Just shot Mrs. Lloyd dead. Pray God forgive me." lie then went to a neighbor's house and related the occurrence, on his way to surrender to the police, when he was arrested.
