(Conducted by "Eileen"). GAY FOLLIES COMPANY. The above company appeared before a good audience at the Theatre Royal and judging by the applause the company evidently made a very favourable impression. The performance is on tke same lines as the Scarlet Troubadors, the members of the company beng handsomely dressed in black and white. Mr. Percy Clifton, who came to the colonics with the Areadjans. is a most refined comedian, and his various items were very amusing. Mr. Percy Dal ton is a wonderful dancer and rag-time singer. The company have some very calists. particularly Miss Cissie O'Kccfe and Mr. Clifford O'Keefe. The company make their last appearance to-ni»ht.

PERSONAL ITEMS. Miss Olive Stanford left last Saturday for Singapore, where she is to be married to Mr. Hugh Wilson, who is stationed there. Mrs. R: A. Gray, New Plymouth, has gone for a trip to Auckland, where she is tiic guest of her sister. Mrs. C. Williams, Devonport, and from there she journeys to Whangarei. Mr. Nicholson, Brisbane, is visitin" bis parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson Courtney street. ' Mr. C. Webster and Mr. B. Griffiths, who have been contesting in the Napier Tennis Tournament, return to New Plymouth by to-nigbt's mail. Mr. and Mrs. Leo. Horrocks, wbo have been the guests of Mrs. Quiiliam, have returned to Feilding. Misses de Montalk and Cosmith Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. Baker' Bulteel street. '

Mr. P. White, Brisbane, is on a visit to his mother, Mrs. T. White, Powderham street.

Mrs. G. Kebbell. Xew Plymouth, is the guest of her sister Mrs. Rankin, Wan»a-' nui. °

Mrs. F. Shearner, of Hamilton, is visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Cunningham, New Plymouth. Mre. H. Collier, New Plymouth, is at present visiting Wellington. Mrs. Dryden leaves next week for Wellington, her future home, her husband having just recently been promoted as Chief Postmaster.

Mr. and Mrs. Hood. Feilding, are on a visit to New Plymouth.

Mrs. Cooper and Miss Alexander, Wa nganui, are at present in New Ply mouth.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant, Feilding. paid >.ew Plymouth a short visit last week. Miss Atkinson. Wanganui, is on a visit to New Plymouth.

Miss C. Bayly leaves to-night by the s.s. Bffrawa. on a short visit to Auckland.

Miss Iha Bavly, Auckland, is the <mest of Mrs. H. Baily, New Plymouth. °
