A DISASTROUS COLLISION. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 10, 9.45 p.m. London, January 10. The liner Ambrose, with 487 passengers, collided with a hopper dredge and a fishing smack, which were interlocked. After the collision, oil' the Mersey, the hopper was found to be cut in two and sank. Thirteen of the crew were drowned. A PROLIFIC WHEAT YIELD. Received 10, (1.45 p.m. Sydney, January 10. The wheat crops on portions of the Riverina are the most prolific known. They will run to 45 bushels to the acre in some places.
THREE CHILD REN DROWN ED. Received 11, 12.15 a.m. Melbourne, January 10. Two children named Dyason and a third named Robinson were missing from Murrumbeera. Their bodies have been discovered in a creek. It is supposed that they fell in while playing.
