SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ; By Telegraph.—Press Association. * Wellington, Last Night. Summary—Strong west to south westerly winds have prevailed, with squally and showery' weather, especially in Foveaux Strait, and on the West Coast of the South Island, hut fair elsewhere. Tbe barometer has been most unsteady, but with a rising tendency in the north«rn and southernmost districts. Forecast—Present indications are for strong West to south- westerly winds with change able'squally and showery weather generally, and especially on the West Coast and in the south. The barometer *wfll probably rise everywhere soon.
