RIFLE SHOOTING.

THE AUCKLAND MEETING. A number of New Plymouth'rifle shots visited Auckland to take part in the annual tournament. The following is the amount of prize money secured by the successful men:—ln the Avondale Match Rifleman Mace secured £2, Rifleman Bruce XI. and Lieut. F. J. Tiartnell 10s; in the Citizens' Match Rifleman Bruce was counted out; in the President's Match Rifleman Bruce took 10s; in the Auckland Match Bruce won 15s; in the Onehunga Match Bruce secured £l, Mace 15s, and Lieut. Hartneli 10s; in the bull's-eye aggregate Bruce won 16s Bd. and in the ''.service" aggregate Mace won £1 13s 4d. Bruce also won the lung's Match and £3 and the Laidlaw Leeds' Cup, and Mace just secured a place in the final twenty.
