J lie Southland Racing Club's meeting was concluded yesterday in fine weather, £20,108 being handled for the two days as against £21.084 last year. The Summer Handicap was won by Summer Lmie, the [{yslyn Handicap Trot by \ mccnt, the Southland Handicap* by . ombre, the Gladstone Handicap by leerless, the Shorts Handicap by Rock Jerry, the Electric Handicap Trot by Game Child, the Clifton Handicap by Cuirasettia and the Final Handicap bv Mosgiel.
