WAIHI REVOLVER CASE.
STRIKER ARRESTFD IN SYDNEY ON PERJURY CHARGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland-. December 30. At the instance of the New Zealand police, Walter Edrnond Harvey lias been arrested at Sydney on a charge of perjury. It j s alleged that, on December 14, at Waihi, Harvey did falsely swear that he had no revolver in his possession, and did not point a revolver at William Hunt at Karangahake on' November 10.
Harvey left by the Witmniera last week, but was detained on arrival at Sydney. Defective Sweeney left for Sydney to-night to apply for extradition and escort him back.
