MONOPLANE AT PIGJiON BUSH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Feather,ston, Friday. An attempt at ilight with a monoplane was made on Christmas Day at Pigeon Bush, but owing to some misunderstanding on the part of the aviator's assistants the mchine was allowed to ascend before the proper time. The, result was that the monoplane fell violently to the ground, and it is reported that the operator was injured. The machine has been taken back to Wellington for repairs, but it is understood that another effort will be made at the same locality.
