: AN UNKNOWN SUICIDE., By Telegraph—Press Association. Westport, December 28. A man whose name is not known blew his head oil', apparently with dynamite, on the footpath opposite Dr. TtaklWright's residence. A BOY KILLED. Pahiatna, Saturday. Thomas Donald Mci'aiianc, aged 13 years, soil ■of Mr. A. McFarlane, chairman of the Bailance Dairy Company, was thrown from his father's cream cart this morning near Konini factory while returning lmine. The wheel passed over his neck and head, and death was instantaneous. The cart collided with a gate-post.
A BACKCOORSE INCIDENT. Thames. Saturday. The condition of Frederick Arns, the man who w.,s knocked down by a horse a;t the Thrones races, is more serious than was a?: flint anticipated. He is still unconscious. Arns suffered a fracture to the skull and concussion of the brain.
ACCIDENT TO A MAOPJ. Thames, Saturday. A native named Puke received injuries to his heaiL by failing from a tree. He had an arm broken. CHILI) KILLED BY MOTOR CAR. We]lington. S'atnrday. A child four ami a half years old. named Philip Core, who was run over by a motor, car yesterday afternoon and severely injured about the head, died this morning.
