The Union steamer Indrapura, which sailed from London, left behind a large portion of her refrigerated cargo'. The wharf laborers worked for six hours, and then left, stating that the air,in the hold was too cold. The intended cargo comprised 3500 quarters of beef and 8000 carcases of mutton, of which only 1500 quarters of beef were loaded.
