His opposition to the referenda proposals is said to be causing trouble. THE BLAYNEY SEAT. Sydney, December 18. There are three candidates in the fic-ld for Blayney. The campaign already promises to bo a warm one, and to produce some linen washing. [The vacancy at Blayney is caused by the retirement of Mr. Beeby, who has left the Ministry and is standing for reelection as an Independent.] THE NEW SOUTH WALES MINISTRY. Received 18, 9.45 p.m. Sydney, December 18. The Labor caucus decided not 'to appoint a successor to Mr. Beeby. Mr. Carmiehael .will administer the Labor portfolio, and Mr. Trelle (Minister of Agriculture) will assume the Lands portfolio.
