By Telegraph.—Pre3s Association. Wellington, Last Night. •' Summary.—A squally area passed in the South last flight, the winds changing to southerly ,-over the South Island. Squally conditions have been experienced-, in parts, especially in the South. : The weather, has been unsettled gener•lly, with scattered showers. Forecast. indications are for changeable ■weather, cloudy and misty at times with • showers and electrical disturbances ; in parts. The barometer has a ri«ing tendency, and moderate to strong southerly ■winds are probable, but a decreasing barometeric pressure is likely to folv -low again soon, and the winds change to northerly and westerly and' increase' in force.
