" SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following weather summary and forecast was issued by the Government Meteorologist at 5 p.m.: Summary: The barometer has been unsteady, but has fallen again to-day. Strong westerly winds have predominated, with changeable weather generally and some showers in parts., Forecast: Present indications are for strong and squally northerly and Westerly winds and decreasing atmospheric pressure, but the barometer is due to rise after about 24 hours, when the winds are likely to veer to the south for a short time. Unsettled' and cloudy weather with rain is probable on the west coast and in the south, and increasing cloudiness preceding rain in many parts elsewhere.
