THE MAORI SPORTS. Maori War Dance, teams of 10 men.— Rauriki team, Patuki team, Bell Block team, Arohunui team, Mokau team. Maori Canoe Hurdle Race.—Wharemahihi and others, 'Whare Runanga and others, Captain Rangiteihinga and others, Tione and others, Toheroa and Phil--lips. Maori Canoe Hurdle Race—Waremahilii and others, Rangiteihinga and others, Tione and others, Toheroa and Phillips. Maori Clowns. Wharemahihi, Teoti, P. Horo, Tione. The Potato Peeling Competition, Maori style is post entry. In addition to the foregoing, exhibition events will be given by other Maori teams. All the Maori events are in Maori style, only Maori costume to be worn. The first event on the programme is timed for 12 o'clock, noon, and thereafter the programme will be kept going without intermission till 5 p.m. Refreshments of all kinds will be procurable on the ground. A delaved train has been arranged to 'eave New' Plymouth at 5.35 on the evening of the sp'orts. Excursion fares will be issued from all stations to New Plymouth. For this unique form of entertainment there will no doubt be a record attendance. The following corrected handicaps have beeh made by Mr. Hanson for iy 2 Mile Cycle Race on Thursday (the handicaps having been drawn up for a 2-mile race in error): —Griffin lovds. Rowlands 70, L. E.
