THE PRISON MUTINY. London, December 13. The ringleaders in the prison mutiny in. the Isle of Wight have been removed to Portland and Dartmoor, chained hand and foot. BANK OF AUSTRALASIA. Lordon, December 13. The directors of the Bank of Australasia recoiimend the issue of 10,000 shares of £4O each at a premium of £OO. Details will be published later. The Daily News says hope is entertained in some quarters that part of the reserve will be capitalised. It is unusual i'or a [bank to indulge in a reserve capitalisation scheme, but it must be admitted that the terms did not seem to involve any big'bonis to the existing shareholder#. SUICIDE OF MURDERERS. London, December 13. Sidney Bunyan and Harry SouthclilT. undergoing life sentences for murder, committed suicide in their cells at Maidl stone. Bunyan was sentenced on September 13, 1900, and Southeliff in 'November, ,1907. They worked in the tinsmith's shop at the prison, and made and secreted a crude knife. They left farewell messages, Bunyan blaming the Home Secretary because he gave no hope for the future.
