A PROMISE FULFILLED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 15, 5.5 p.m. London, December 14. The Scripture Gift Mission, learning that the King read the Bible regularly, wrote to Lord Kiiollys. the King'o private secretary. The latter replied, and said that he was asked by the King to say that the statement was true. He had promised 'Queen Alexandra in 1881 to read a chapter daily, and bad adhered to his promise ever since.
