ENDURANCE TESTS. By Cable—Press Association— Copyright New York, December 11. The Board of Aldermen has been asked to prohibit endurance tests, such a* the six days' bicycle race, in whi«h Australians are competing. An ordinance has been introduced prohibiting contestants continuing longer than three hours daily. ROAD RACE. A road race was held last evening from New Plymouth to Bell Block aw back, under the auspices of the Rovers* Cycle Club. It resulted as follows;—J. Jury (3mins) 26 mins, 1; V. Guneon (46secs), 2; S. Beauchamp (lmin 30sec), 3. L. Smith (scr.) put up the fastest time, covering the distance of 8 miles in 24 minutes.
