NEW PLYMOUTH v. WAVERLEY. The annual match between Waverley and New Plymouth clubs was played yesterday, on the latter club's greens. The weather was ideal, and the match proved most enjoyable. Afternoon tea was served by the ladies. New Plymouth won by 12 sets to 7. Results:— LADIES' SINGLES. Miss Brewster (New Plymouth) beat Mrs. Wallace (Waverley), 9-1. Miss V. Simpson beat Mrs. Graham, 9-0. Miss D. Simpson beat Miss Esse, 9—2. Miss M. Thompson beat Miss Symes, 9—o. MEN'S SINGLES. Dickie (Waverley) beat Webster (New Plymouth), <i—l, o—o. C. D.
