The Pukaki has been delayed in the South, and as she will practically be running concurrently with the Corinna, it has been decided that, as the Corinna will be able to take in all the cargo, the Pukaki's call at New Plymouth will be cancelled. The Karamu is to leave Wellington on Wednesday next for New Plymouth with oil plant, ex Anglo-Mexican, for the Taranaki Oil Wells' Ltd. Captain J. McKenzie, late of the Rosamond, has joined the Haupiri, in place of Captain Irwin, Avho has gone south to take charge of the Poherua.
