. SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. I The following weather summary and forecast was issued by the Government * Meteorologist at 5 p.m.:—Summary: The weathtr has been cloudy at times in the southernmost districts, but anticyclonic conditions, with fair weather, have been experienced in most parts. Northerly breezes have predominated, but the directions have been generally variable, and light to moderate in force. Forecast: Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds northwards of Kawhia and Gisborne, and moderate and variable breezes elsewhere. The weather is likely to continue fair, •with a high barometer ruling generally.
